ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Career
Martin Bissig’s path into professional photography was the logical consequence of combining his three greatest passions: Mountain biking, traveling and photography. After an apprenticeship as a banker and further training as a business economist, he ventured into self-employment in 2003. Over the years, he has built up an extensive network in the sports industry and international magazines.
Teaching Experience
Martin Bissig gained his first experience as workshop leader more than ten years ago. For the last three years, the Canon photographer has been passing on his knowledge to photographers in courses and workshops. Indirect flash, image composition, story development, and post-processing in Lightroom are some of the main topics. He has been the keynote speaker at one of Switzerland’s most significant photography events (PiXS 17).
